3. The rookie receivers continue to show out

Even though J’Mon Moore had a rough night against the Titans (two drops), the other rookie receivers had a great showing. Equanimeous St. Brown had four receptions for 61 yards and Marquez Valdes-Scantling was the star of the show with team-highs in receptions (five), yards (101) and touchdowns (one).

With all three fighting for a roster spot at the deep wide receiver position, it’s critical they create a goal to at least replicate last week’s performances (except for Moore). St. Brown really knows how to use his body and put himself in a great position to receive the pass. Valdes-Scantling is flashing that great speed and could become a unique weapon for Green Bay.

Moore is a different type of player, however. He appears to be in the same mold as Davante Adams and will rely on his precision route running to get open. Also similar to Adams, he struggles with concentration and drops. This will be the most important part of Moore’s game to improve, otherwise he could find himself off the Packers’ roster come September.
