5. See improvement in the quarterbacks

Mike McCarthy went on record this week to say DeShone Kizer and Tim Boyle are behind Brett Hundley in terms of footwork and fundamentals. Even though that’s probably to be expected considering Hundley has spent three plus seasons with McCarthy, it’s still extremely important to a quarterback guru like Green Bay’s head coach.

The good news is there is plenty of time for all three quarterbacks to make improvements. Aaron Rodgers has said he’ll play against the Steelers, but he’s likely to be limited to one series. That means there will be plenty of snaps to go around for Hundley, Kizer and Doyle.

Last week, all three had their moments to shine and should be able to do so again. This time, however, it won’t be about the passing numbers they put up. Each will be trying to improve their game and take another step forward. Hopefully, they’ll be able to continue to impress in the second preseason game.
