3. Jaire Alexander gets an interception

Jaire Alexander missed the first preseason game due to an injury, but returned to the practice field late last week. That indicates he’s ready to go and should appear in his first “game” action on Thursday night. It’s extremely crucial the Packers get Alexander as many reps as possible, as they’ll likely be counting on him come the regular season.

So far in Training Camp, Alexander has made some big plays when he’s been on the field. He always appears to be around the ball and has this uncanny ability to read the quarterback. This intuition has allowed him to undercut routes and take chances others might not be able to.

He’ll be able to use this innate ability and grab his first career preseason interception against the Steelers. Look for Alexander to have his eyes locked in on the quarterback, something the coaches have been trying to have him do less of, and pounce on the first opportunity to pick one off. The 2018 first round pick has a lot of Tramon Williams and Charles Woodson in him and will flash it right away.
