The Green Bay Packers take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in their second game of the 2018 NFL preseason. Let’s get wild with predictions!

The Green Bay Packers are set to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in the friendly confines of Lambeau Field on Thursday, Aug. 16 at 7pm CT. Both the Packers and Steelers head into the game at 1-0 and will look to remain undefeated in the all-important preseason.

Perhaps, one of the biggest headlines is how the Packers’ secondary fares against the Steelers passing offense. Even though Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown are unlikely to play, Pittsburgh still boasts a stronger passing game than the Tennessee Titans did.

Former Packers’ safety Morgan Burnett will also square up against his old team. He signed a contract with the Steelers in the offseason, marking the end of his tenure in Green Bay. The Packers are trying to figure out how to replace him and appear set to use some combination of Josh Jones and Kentrell Brice.

There are a number of other storylines to watch in this game, but that’s for a different article. For now, it’s time to make some predictions about what will happen on the field on Thursday night. Will a rookie cornerback shine again? Or will one struggle? Will another Packers’ wide receiver have a big night? Let’s take a look at five bold predictions for the Packers’ second preseason game.
