DT Kenny Clark

One of the biggest reasons for optimism for the 2018 Packers is the abundance of talent on the defense, including new coordinator Mike Pettine. This award could go to any of Mike Daniels, Muhammad Wilkerson, Clay Matthews, Nick Perry, Blake Martinez, Tramon Williams, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, or even Jaire Alexander. But Kenny Clark is a budding superstar and a long shot candidate for NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

All one needs to do to see how great Clark can be is to watch the final month of last season. After a solid season and a half of run stuffing, he found his pass rush and recorded 4.5 sacks during the final stretch of the season. As a nose tackle, that’s exceptional. Now flanked by two elite pass-rushing defensive linemen, he could double that total this year. Oh, and he’s still only 22 years old. For Clark, the sky is the limit and he could have a year that combines the best of BJ Raji and Cullen Jenkins. He’s that good.
