RT Bryan Bulaga

Aaron Rodgers was an option here, as was Muhammad Wilkerson, Ty Montgomery, and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. But, combined with his ridiculously quick recovery from the injury, the ability to change the way a defensive line plays is what gets Bryan Bulaga the award.

The veteran tackle spent most of 2017 on the injury list with a multitude of maladies, including the torn ACL that ended his season. Expected to start on the Physcially Unable to Perform List to start the season, he’s already been cleared and is expected to be ready for Week 1. His incredible recovery not only solves the woes at tackle in the starting lineup, but also give Aaron Rodgers his other bookend to protect him as he carves opposing defenses. If Bulaga stays healthy in 2018, and it’s a big “if,” he should be the Comeback Player of the Year in Green Bay.
