5. Atlanta Falcons Offense

This unit isn’t the same as the one that nearly won the Super Bowl two seasons ago. However, they are still one of the scarier groups when they’re firing on all cylinders. Julio Jones remains one of the top-five wide receivers in the NFL. Matt Ryan, when he’s on, can put up numbers in a hurry. Tevin Coleman and Devonta Freeman are one of the most dangerous duos at the running back position in the league.

Luckily for Mike Pettine and the Packers defense, this matchup doesn’t come until week 14. The defense may be clicking and one of the more improved units from last season. However, if they aren’t, the Falcons offense has abused the Packers over the past few years. The Falcons offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian has gotten a lot of grief since coming to the NFL. This could be the year it all comes together, and the Falcons rampage over everyone.

Rodgers and the Packers offense should be more balanced this year. They will still have the ability to score with the best of them with Davante Adams building on last year’s breakout. Against a Falcons unit that will most likely be top-10 in the NFL in points per game, it’s very possible that they are going to need it.
