4. Khris Middleton and Malcolm Brogdon are pending free agents

Malcolm Brogdon will be a restricted free agent after this season when the Bucks inevitably make his $1.9 million qualifying offer. Khris Middleton has a $13 million player option for 2019-20 which he will inevitably decline.

With both players having such a huge role in Milwaukee and also set to be on the market next Summer, Milwaukee needs to take this opportunity to make one last good impression on the duo. Both players have their best basketball ahead of them and the Bucks will need their services in order to maximize the team’s potential.

Part of the reason the Bucks likely didn’t elect to pay Parker this Summer was due to these two players pending free agent statuses. Both players are better fits alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo and have a more modern style of game that translates at both ends of the floor. Both guys should also re-sign with the Bucks, unless something goes horribly wrong this year.
