5. Continued growth is a must

As previously mentioned, the Bucks have improved their record for three straight seasons now. Even if they were a very disappointing 44-38 team last season, they still took a step forward and pushed the Boston Celtics to a seven-game series in the first round of the playoffs.

However, they must take a significant leap this season in order to capture the momentum they’ve nearly lost. They have everyone back besides Jabari Parker and don’t have to worry about their key players getting too old. In fact, most of their major contributors should be even better in 2018-19 than they were in 2017-18.

They’ve now added a trio of veterans who have lots of experience in the NBA and are hungry to continue experiencing success in this league. They’re led by new head coach Mike Budenholzer who spent lots of time as an assistant coach to Gregg Popovich in San Antonio. He also had his own success as the head man with the Atlant Hawks. The Bucks also added two veterans in Ersan Ilyasova and Brook Lopez who will teach the young guys how to work. They should have all the pieces to continue growing.
