5. Which Quarterback has the Upper Hand on the Backup Job?

After seeing the struggle that was Brett Hundley, starting quarterback, the Packers quickly moved to upgrade the position, trading for DeShone Kizer. Now, Kizer is in no way getting cut after the team traded a starting defensive back to get him, but he hasn’t impressed in camp, especially when it comes to his footwork and accuracy, which they’re rebuilding from scratch.

In fact, Hundley has been the guy taking most of the snaps with the number one offense after Aaron Rodgers went down to work with the scout team. He’s also listed as the number two guy on the depth chart. That tends to lead viewers to think that Hundley will be the starting quarterback against Tennessee. But the team could definitely rotate quarterbacks by series, so each gets reps with the top players on the roster, not the camp bodies. Those will be reserved for rookie Tim Boyle.

As game time approaches, expect to see that familiar No. 7 leading the offense on the first drive, before Kizer comes in midway through the second quarter and Boyle plays the final two or three drives.
