2. Brett Hundley

Brett Hundley took over for Rodgers after he went down with a collarbone injury last season. Hundley was almost able to keep his team in playoff contention, but failed to do so in the end. Overall, he was underwhelming and disappointing.

Considering his performance, it wasn’t shocking when the Packers acquired DeShone Kizer from the Cleveland Browns in a trade this offseason. The Packers obviously needed some better insurance in case Rodgers went down with another injury.

Regardless, Hundley is listed as the No. 2 quarterback on the initial depth chart release. Neither Hundley nor Kizer has been very impressive during training camp. Instead, it’s been undrafted quarterback Tim Boyle who’s been turning heads. Still, it appears Hundley is going to continue getting every opportunity to back up Rodgers and prove he has grown since last season.
