3. Lance Kendricks

Lance Kendricks, the former Wisconsin Badger, returned to the state last season when he signed a contract with the Packers. Kendricks was supposed to form a nice duo at tight end alongside Martellus Bennett. Unfortunately, both players had disappointing seasons.

Kendricks flew under the radar all season despite having some pretty ugly performances. His exact role was unknown for most of the summer considering the turnover at the position. Bennett was gone in the middle of the season and Richard Rodgers departed after the year. Soon after, the Packers brought in Jimmy Graham and, later, Marcedes Lewis.

Kendricks was and is thought to be the team’s third tight end. However, he was listed as No. 2 behind Graham and ahead of Lewis. This is quite shocking considering how touted Lewis has been so far in camp. Let’s see if this stands or if Lewis is able to work his way ahead of Kendricks.
