4. Two-way player

One of the most underrated aspects in the NBA today is the ability to play defense. Fans are marveling at the Golden State Warriors and their ability to put the ball in the basket from just about anywhere on the court. However, they constantly overlook their great defense.

Yes, the Warriors are one of the best teams in NBA history thanks to their offense. However, they also play defense at one of the best rates in the league. Their ability to lock down teams is what really separates them from the other great teams in history.

Antetokounmpo is the same way. He’s known for his offensive ability and great athletic traits. However, he’s one of the best defenders in the world. He can literally guard anyone and everyone from the smallest and quickest point guard to the biggest center. He’ll likely win a Defensive Player of the Year award some day. Being a two-way player will gain him some small advantages in the MVP voting this year.
