5. Work ethic

Just about everyone in the NBA has a good work ethic. They wouldn’t be in the top league in the world without it no matter their natural born abilities. However, Antetokounmpo has proven he has one of, if not THE, best work ethics in the NBA.

The transformation in not only his game but his body, from his rookie season to now, has been nothing short of incredible. He entered the league as a long, wiry player and has turned himself into an athletic marvel. He’s put on mass amounts of lean muscle that have served him well and haven’t taken away from his speed or quickness.

His game on the court also reflects hard work. About the only thing he hasn’t mastered yet is a consistent outside shot. However, he has shown flashes in this department. Still, he’s such a polished player thanks to his ability to finish with either hand, perform complex moves in the lane and score at will around the basket. He’s absolutely certain to take another step forward in the 2018-19 season.
