Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the best players in the Milwaukee Bucks franchise history. Here are reasons he’ll win the MVP award in 2018-19.

The Milwaukee Bucks hit the lottery when they selected Giannis Antetokounmpo with the 15th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. At the time they drafted him, he was thought to be a couple years away from being a couple years away. Luckily, he proved everyone wrong and improved at an alarming rate, unlike anything that has ever been seen before.

Enough good things can’t be said about Antetokounmpo. He’s proving he’s an even better player off the court than he is on-something that is extremely difficult to do. After only five seasons in the NBA, he’s already one of the best players in franchise history.

For the first four seasons of his career, he improved his per game averages in the following categories; points, rebounds, assists, blocks, steals and field goal percentage. Although he was unable to continue that trend last year, he did up his field goal percentage, rebounds and points per game once again.

Entering his sixth season, Antetokounmpo is now the best player in the Eastern Conference after LeBron James departed for the Los Angels Lakers. Even if James had stayed in the conference, Antetokounmpo would have a great argument that he can challenge the King for the best player. With the opportunity ripe for the picking, here are five reasons why Antetokounmpo WILL (not can) win the MVP this season.
