With training camp underway, let’s take a look at five players who might have monster preseasons for the Green Bay Packers.

The Green Bay Packers kick off preseason in just one week when they take on the Tennessee Titans on Thursday, Aug. 9 at 7pm CT. That game will take place in the friendly confines of good ol’ Lambeau Field. Before then, however, the Packers have some work to do.

They have practice on Thursday and Friday (Aug. 2-3) and then their annual scrimmage on Family Night on Saturday, Aug. 4. They follow that up with an off day on Sunday, Aug. 5 and then two more practices on Monday and Tuesday (Aug. 6 and 7).

Even with all of that set to unfold, there have been a few Packers who have shown they’re ready to breakout and have monstrous preseasons.

Most of the guys on this list project to be major contributors in 2018. That doesn’t mean they were last year, but their situation is such that they could see an increase in playing time with good showings. Other guys may be battling for starting or key backup spots and need big games to prove their worth.

Whatever the case, these five players are set to have breakout preseasons so let’s check in on them.
