The Green Bay Packers will be looking at a few key positions as training camp kicks off and the team moves closer to the regular season.

The Green Bay Packers don’t have too many positions up for grabs heading into the 2018 season. However, the positions that will be fought for, are ones of grave importance. No matter if these battles are between two, three or even four players, the outcomes will certainly affect how the year plays out.

For most of these battles, the Packers have a couple of talented options. Sure, the players may be flawed, but they have their strengths they can rely on to get the job done. Some of them might not be worked out in training camp, allowing for the real games to show the coaching staff who deserves the spot.

For other positions, the coaches might rely on matchups to dictate who will play and how often. This would allow the Packers to play to each individuals strengths if they don’t believe they are ready to become a full-time player quite yet. Whichever the solution, these positions are going to be fought over and the focus of attention heading into the end of July and August.

Although these positons won’t be the be all, end all (that’s saved for Aaron Rodgers), they are critical factors in determining Green Bay’s success. Without further ado, let’s take a look at the five most important training camp battles in 2018.
