Milwaukee Brewers: 5 players they should target in a trade

4. Eduardo Escobar

Eduardo Escobar is one of two Minnesota Twins on this list. Escobar has the ability to play shortstop, a position the Brewers clearly need to upgrade. Orlando Arcia hasn’t been able to get on base consistently and is currently spending time down in Triple-A to focus on his swing.

In his stead, the Brewers have been forced to rely on guys such as Nate Orf, Tyler Saladino and Brad Miller. Not exactly a trio that breathes fear into an opponent.

While Escobar can play short, he’s probably better suited at third or second. Although Milwaukee already has a couple of options at those positions, Escobar might be having the best season at the plate among them. He’s hitting .272 with 14 home runs and 58 RBIs. That kind of offensive production could help breathe life into the poorus Brewers’ offense.
