The Milwaukee Brewers need a trade to help shake things up and allow them to get to the playoffs. Here are five players they should target.

The Milwaukee Brewers need a boost to finish the 2018 season. After leading the National League for most of the season, they’ve fallen behind the Chicago Cubs and continue to plummet down the standings. After losing two of the three to the Los Angeles Dodgers following the All-Star break, they have now lost nine of their last 11 games.

There are a number of reasons the Brewers have been slipping of late. The two most prominent reasons include a number of players on the roster who aren’t playing up to expectations, as well as a growing number of injuries.

While the Brewers hope to address those woes internally, they should go externally to try to improve as well.

Per usual, there are a number of players who are available to be moved as we near the trade deadline on July 31. The Brewers were rumored to be one of the leaders in the trade for Manny Machado, but ultimately fell short. Still, they predict to be active leading up to the deadline.
