1. How they use Jimmy Graham

Jimmy Graham is one of the bigger name free agents the Packers have scored in recent seasons. Gutekunst is certainly hoping he turns out as Thompson’s version of Charles Woodson.

Despite the question marks surrounding Graham, he remains one of the elite talents at “tight end.” Of course, the tight end is in quotations because he’ll probably be used more like a wide receiver. Graham is one of the worst blocking tight ends in the league. Still, that shouldn’t diminish his value as Green Bay will offset him with the best in Marcedes Lewis.

Graham may be one reason Gutekunst was comfortable releasing Jordy Nelson and not signing another proven receiver in his place. Graham will likely be lined up all over the field in order to create as many mismatches as possible. It will be incredibly interesting and exciting to see how Mike McCarthy and Joe Philbin use him in this offense.
