Green Bay Packers: The 5 best players nobody is talking about
2. Montravius Adams
Montravius Adams is another defensive lineman on this list, proving the Packers have a very deep and talented unit. After being selected in the third round in 2017, Adams basically had a redshirt season last year, as he battled through injury and only appeared in seven games.
Adams was a dominant force at Auburn which led to him being drafted so high. At 6-foot-4 and 304 pounds, he can provide a big body in the middle of the defensive line for the Packers. The plan is for him to take up space and blockers, allowing the defenders behind him to roam free and make the plays.
Adams can team up with Lowry to provide even more depth on the line and allow the starters to stay fresh throughout games. He may even allow the Packers to play some 4-3 fronts, something they haven’t done since before the Dom Capers’ days.
