5. Dean Lowry

Dean Lowry is an extremely solid player and will provide very quality depth for the defensive line this season. His skills and abilities sometimes go unnoticed because he doesn’t make spectacular, game-altering plays.

At 6-foot-6 and 296 pounds, he has excellent size to be a disruptor on the defensive line. However, he uses his athletic traits to perform his job duties and stay fundamentally sound. After struggling to consistently see the field during his rookie campaign, he took a step forward last season and proved he deserves regular snaps.

Lowry will allow guys like Kenny Clark, Muhammad Wilkerson and Mike Daniels to stay fresh by rotating in with them. This will allow them to do their job deep into games when others may be getting tired. Lowry began to flash more and more last season and can hopefully build on that for 2018.
