3. Equanimeous St. Brown doesn’t make the team

Currently, the Packers have more receivers than likely roster spots on the team. With guys like Adams, Cobb, Valdes-Scantling, Moore, St. Brown, Geronimo Allison, and Michael Clark, one of them will likely have to go.

Adams and Cobb are obviously locks to make the roster at this point. Allison and Clark also probably possess an edge on the three rookies considering they have a head start on the scheme and gaining Aaron Rodgers’ trust. That leaves one of the three rookies to falter and not make the final 53-man roster.

Unfortunately, my bet is on St. Brown. It seems crazy, as he possesses all the measurables (6-foot-5, 214 pounds, 4.48 40-yard dash). However, he doesn’t go hard on every play and that can cause troubles at the NFL level. He also needs a lot of work on his route-running and doesn’t always appear all that interested in improving his craft. These little things add up over time and although he is talented, he doesn’t possess enough talent to overcome his lack of attention to detail.
