There are certain players every team can’t replace no matter what. Here are those five guys for the Milwaukee Brewers following the All-Star break.

The Milwaukee Brewers have some work to do following the All-Star break. When play resumes on Friday, the Brewers will trail the Chicago Cubs by 2.5 games in the National League Central. Although that’s not insurmountable by any means, they do need to right the ship.

In order to do so, they will need major contributions from these five players. These guys are far and away the most irreplaceable on the team and players the Brewers wouldn’t be able to do without. Let’s hope nothing happens to them throughout the rest of the season.

As we sit on those hopes and/or prayers, the Brewers will be working to get back on a winning track. They lost their last six games heading into the All-Star break and seven of their final eight. This has now put them behind the eight ball. It has turned them into the hunters and not the hunted.

Hopefully, Milwaukee will thrive with the tables turned, unlike last season. They should also be able to use last year’s collapse as experience and motivation to do better this time around. And, in order to do so, they need to ensure these five players stay on the field as they wouldn’t know what to do without them.
