3. Jesus Aguilar wins NL MVP

It’s hard to imagine that Jesus Aguilar had to be elected into the final spot in the MLB All-Star game by the final fan vote. Even though this was great news for Aguilar, it showed the MLB’s system is extremely flawed and it also saved them a ton of embarrassment.

Why would it be embarrassing to not have Aguilar voted into the All-Star game? Why, because he’s a legimate candidate for MVP. Although he may never get the love from the voters, it’s hard to argue with the numbers he’s putting up. Especially on one of the best teams in the National League.

If Aguilar can continue his current pace and even pick it up a bit (am I asking too much?) and the Brewers as a team can play a little bit better and recapture their spot on top of the National League (am I asking even more?) then it would be hard to imagine Aguilar not having an iron-clad case as the most impactful player in the NL.
