3. Josh Jones

Josh Jones had a very up and down season in 2017. His highs were very high and his lows were very low. However, he’s going to have to improve the consistency of his play and eliminate the steep valleys in order to have a true impact this season.

Jones had some great games last season. This included in Week 3 against the Cincinnati Bengals where he racked up 11 tackles and two sacks. Even though that was the only two sacks he accrued all season, it proved he has the talent to succeed in this league.

His position will be a bit different entering the 2018 campaign. Instead of playing almost full-time up near the line of scrimmage, he will be asked to play more coverage as he moves all over the field. The good news is he’ll be able to focus solely on these new tasks throughout the summer and prove to the coaching staff why they used a second-round pick on him in 2017.
