Green Bay Packers: 5 candidates to breakout in training camp
4. Kenny Clark
This one may seem like it’s coming a season too late, but Kenny Clark is truly set for a breakout training camp. Sure, he had a fine season in 2017, as he racked up 4.5 sacks and 32 tackles during his second season, but there’s a lot more where that came from.
Outside of Green Bay, Clark isn’t a widely known player either. That also plays into his ranking on this breakout list. He may not be breaking out to those familiar with the team, but he will make his name more well-known on a wider, national scale.
At not even 23-years-old, he is still coming into his own body and truly finding his way in the NFL. He already had Mike Daniels alongside him on the line and will now have Muhammad Wilkerson. This should make Clark fall to third on the pecking order in terms of opposing offenses focus on the line. Look for Clark to move his scale from a good to great player this summer.
