1. Manny Machado

Surprise! Yes, I know Manny Machado is currently a Brewer, but all signs point to Milwaukee acquiring him before the trade deadline. If that happens, look for Machado to spark this offense and get their feet off the ground.

Despite mortgaging their future for a rental, Machado should prove worthy of whatever price Milwaukee pays for the superstar. Even with his defensive deficiencies, Machado is one of the best hitters in the game today. He also just happens to play a position the Brewers have struggled to fill offensively all season long.

With Machado in the lineup, Milwaukee suddenly has a nice grouping of players including Lorenzo Cain, Yelich, Aguilar, Machado and Travis Shaw. This should help give them the balance they need with their lineup and provide more than a spark offensively.
