2. Davante Adams

Perhaps, Davante Adams is the second-most obvious player on this list for the Packers. With Rodgers out last season, Adams was the only player who continued to thrive and proved himself as one of the better receivers in the game. He’ll only look to build on that momentum in 2018.

Even though Adams has yet to post a 1,000 yard receiving season, he’s had double-digit touchdowns in each of the past two years. With a full season of Rodgers and Adams at the helm, he should be able to post a career season.

However, there’s also another reason he’s indispensable. Behind Adams, is a wealth of inexperience and unproven players at the receiver position. They have guys like Geronimo Allison, Michael Clark, J’Mon Moore, Equanimeous St. Brown and Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Each of those guys possesses some level of talent, but it would be bad news if they were thrust into an even larger role.

Adams has a history of concussions and one more could put him on the shelf for a long time. Let’s hope opposing teams can lay off the cheap shots and allow Adams to become the beast he’s destined to be.
