4. Randall Cobb

Randal Cobb is the highest paid Packer that’s set to become a free agent in 2019 at an annual salary of $12.7 million. Similar to Matthews, he’s also finishing up an extension he signed a few years back. Cobb and the Packers agreed to a four-year, $40 million deal in 2015.

Cobb was just coming off a monster season which saw him snag 91 receptions for 1287 yards and 12 touchdowns. At just 24-years-old at the time, he appeared to be just hitting his stride. Unfortunately, he’s failed to live up to the hype since, never surpassing 80 receptions, 830 receiving yards or six touchdowns.

Even though Cobb has declined a bit, he’s still young enough and talented enough to be a contributor on a good team. He showed flashes at the beginning of last season with Aaron Rodgers at quarterback, but quickly lost momentum when Brett Hundley took over. Look for him to have a big year this season and cash in again in 2019. Whether it be with the Packers or someone else.
