1. Penn State Nittany Lions

The Penn State Nittany Lions are coming off a tremendous 11-2 season and will look to build upon that momentum in 2018. Unfortunately for them, they’ll likely slip a little bit, but that’s a very difficult record to emulate.

Head coach James Franklin is back for his fifth season and appears to be just getting into his groove. They lost a lot of talent from last year’s team, especially in running back Saquon Barkley. Fortunately, they are still a talented bunch and should be able to make up for some of that.

Quarterback Trace McSorley is back and has a great offensive line in front of him. He has a new offensive coordinator calling plays so we’ll see how that transition goes. Still, there are plenty of weapons on the roster to give the Badgers trouble.

This is another road game for the Badges and will be one of their biggest tests of the season. However, it’s also a chance for them to add a great victory to their resume. If they can secure the “W” that is.
