By Joe Kipp
Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones was suspended two games by the NFL for violation of the substance abuse policy. That and more news from the past week in this week’s weekly roundup.
Welcome back to another edition of the Green Bay Packers weekly roundup. You can check out last week’s version here.
Packers running back Aaron Jones was suspended two games last week for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy. The violation stems from an arrest involving marijuana during a traffic stop last October.
With Jones on the sidelines early on, the opportunity remains for Ty Montgomery or Jamaal Williams to take the lead as the starter. Jones should still see plenty of action as the season wears on, though.
Training camp is just two weeks away, and the season is inching closer and closer. In addition to the news about Jones, below are articles, videos and tweets from the FanSided network and around the web, detailing all you need to know from the past week.
