4. RB Todd Gurley, Rams

Week 8- Oct. 28

Unless it’s Adrian Peterson, Green Bay’s defense usually keeps superstar running backs in check. However, Gurley was an MVP candidate in 2017 and he’s hungry to build off that performance. For the year he finished with 1,305 yards rushing, 13 rushing touchdowns and six receiving touchdowns.

Gurley reached the century mark for rushing yards on six different occasions last season. The Packers only allowed a player to go for 100 yards rushing four times in a single game. Expect Gurley to be one of those select few in 2018 as he’s the featured back in one of the most dynamic offenses in the league.

The Rams are in win now mode after a handful of trades and signings this offseason to maximize on Jared Goff‘s rookie contract. Don’t expect them to hold back from giving Gurley the ball next year either. It’s entirely possible he could carry them into the playoffs once again.
