10. Rutgers Scarlet Knights

Former Wisconsin defensive coordinator Chris Ash will lead the Rutgers Scarlet Knights against the Badgers. And it won’t be pretty. Ash is 6-18 during his first to seasons at the helm, including 4-8 last year. The two teams square up on Nov. 3 at Camp Randall.

Even though Rutgers’ offense has struggled, Ash has stayed true to his roots. The defense is certainly the strength of the team, but that’s not saying much at all. They’ve taken a few steps forward during Ash’s first two years and that should continue again in 2018. Look out for that secondary as Alex Hornibrook is going to need to be on his best behavior or risk throwing a couple of interceptions.

Quarterback Giovanni Rescigno is in charge of this offense and that’s not a good thing. He’s struggled mightily during his career and hasn’t shown many signs that will change. Wisconsin should be able to feast on him and take home the victory.
