2018-19 is a do or die year for some members of the Green Bay Packers. Which five players have the most to prove entering the new season?

Football is all about competition. Just because your job is safe and secure one season may not necessarily mean it will be the following season. For a handful of players on the Green Bay Packers, they find themselves entering a make or break season. In a sense, this season may determine their futures in Green Bay.

Although there may be more than five current Packers playing with a purpose this season, there are five key players that come to mind. Each of these five players has been put on watch over the past few seasons. Whether it has been due to injury or poor play, this season they all have to prove they can still play the game at a high level.

Also, I want to point out rookies have been excluded from this list. Although Jaire Alexander and Josh Jackson have a big task to complete in helping revamp the Packers secondary, neither has much to prove. That is, nothing to prove just yet.

For now, the focus will be on veterans and/or those playing in a contract season. The reason being is that they have expectations at this point in each of their respective careers. Sure, rookies have expectations too. However, the standard is set higher for veterans.

With that, these are the five Packers with the most to prove entering this upcoming season.
