1. Philadelphia 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers have been involved in rumors for just about every major player this offseason. Whether it be LeBron James, Kawhi Leonard and now Parker. And they have the assets to do so.

After stockpiling draft picks for years, they have a bunch of young talent and remaining picks to make just about any deal work. Players like Dario Saric and Robert Covington are attractive enough in their own right and then you add some of their future selections to the mix and it might be hard for any team to turn down.

However, the Bucks might want to be careful. Given Antetokounmpo and Middleton, they have aspirations of contending in the Eastern Conference in the immediate future, just as the 76ers do. Giving them a player of Parker’s caliber might give them even more of a leg up and create a gap that would be hard to close between the two teams.

It’s a risk general manager Jon Horst has to assess when discussing any deal for Parker. However, the chips may be out of his hands since Parker can negotiate the contract with whichever team he likes. It will certainly be interesting to see how this plays out, but we should have our answer in the coming weeks with free agency set to begin on July 1.
