2. Brooklyn Nets

The Brooklyn Nets are just now beginning to get past the era where they gave all their unprotected first round picks to the Boston Celtics. This has left them void of young talent and their front office searching for other ways to acquire talent.

Trading for Parker could be another way they make up for that lack of picks and give them a shot at acquiring a future cornerstone for their franchise. However, any trade between these two teams might be an ill-fitting one.

Brooklyn has a number of odd assets who wouldn’t necessarily fit on the Bucks’ team or that would work contract wise in a trade. Allen Crabbe would be a great addition to Milwaukee, however, he’s owed $18.5 million this season and next and was one of Brooklyn’s best players last season.

DeMarre Carroll is another intriguing option the Bucks could look at. He played the best basketball of his career under Budenholzer in Atlanta. He could also give the Bucks a nice option as a stretch-4 if they put Antetokounmpo at the 5 and play some small ball. Milwaukee should certainly push for him in any deal with the Nets.
