1. Marcus Smart, Guard

Marcus Smart has the utmost respect of this writer and is one of the toughest players in the league. He single-handedly turned the Bucks-Celtics playoff series around when he came back from injury.

He plays extremely hard on every possession, can defend multiple positions and has enough basketball I.Q. to make up for his lack of a pure shot.

Unfortunately, his lack of a shot is what kills his chance for the Bucks. Now is the time for Milwaukee to craft their team around Antetokounmpo and shooters is what they need. When you take Smart outside of a Brad Stevens’ system, he’s unlikely to replicate the offensive success he had in Boston. This presents a lot of troubles for the Bucks.

Smart also thinks a lot of himself (and rightfully so) and will be looking to maximize his earning potential this offseason. Fortunately for Milwaukee, this likely prices himself out of the Bucks
