The Milwaukee Bucks have a path to some cap space this offseason. If they choose that path, here are five free agents they should pursue.

The Milwaukee Bucks are likely to be very limited in the spending options when NBA free agency begins on July 1. Gone are the days where they had a max contract to offer to the likes of Greg Monroe and here are the days where they are looking to add to their competitive team.

Unfortunately, recent contracts like Matthew Dellavedova, John Henson and Tony Snell have left them in a bit of a bind. They are nearing the salary tax, but they should be able to stay under that barring a huge Jabari Parker contract. That leaves Milwaukee with the Mid-Level Exception at about $8.5 million per season.

This is still a decent amount of money they can throw at a player in the hopes Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton can entice them to sign. However, don’t expect any huge names to be attached to the Bucks this summer.

Still, Milwaukee can sign at least one impactful player to their roster and maybe a second depending on what happens with their other players. Let’s take a look at five guys who could be brought into Milwaukee to help them take that next step.
