Green Bay Packers weekly roundup: Entering the dark days of the offseason
By Joe Kipp

For Green Bay Packers fans, the next month will be the most difficult part of the offseason. With the completion of minicamp last week, storylines have been few and far between. Nonetheless, here are the biggest headlines from the past week.
Welcome back to another edition of the Green Bay Packers weekly roundup. You can check out last week’s version here.
Entering a period of no real football action, Packers fans may need to get themselves checked for withdrawal symptoms sooner rather than later. Minicamp ended over a week ago and training camp doesn’t start until July 26.
Despite this, the biggest news of the week happened earlier today, when reporters spotted Randall Cobb in a walking boot. Cobb is expected to be ready for the start of 2018.
Below are articles, videos and tweets from the FanSided network and around the web, detailing all you need to know from the past week.

Perhaps the biggest headline of the week, Randall Cobb caused concern among fans:
Ran into #Packers WR Randall Cobb and saw a walking boot on his right foot. Cobb described the boot as “temporary” but didn’t say if he underwent surgery. A source said the team may ease him onto the field for camp. There’s no concern about his availability for the season opener.

.@packers @DBak69 had 33 1on 1 pass sets v Everson Griffin in 2 games in 2017. He surrendered 1 QB hit and 0 sacks. When you can eliminate the opposing teams best pass rusher with no help it makes everyone else better. #BaldyBreakdowns pic.twitter.com/otEwyIA1TY
