New England Patriots: Week 9

We get a battle of the two best quarterbacks in the league when the Packers take on the New England Patriots in Week 9.

When you think Rodgers, you see someone who is still at the top of his game. Same goes for Tom Brady. One has to wonder though, when will Brady finally start to decline? The Patriots offseason has been questionable with key players not showing up or being suspended. Which poses the question, can this team get it together for the regular season?

In the high-octane game to come, we finally have a rematch for Rodgers after they fell to the Patriots 21-26 in 2014. Rodgers outperformed Brady in that contest throwing for 368 yards and two touchdowns.

Unlike in 2014, the only edge the Patriots have in this year’s match-up is running back. As I’ve said before, the Packers just don’t have any proven backs to help Rodgers. If the Packers can force Brady to throw 40+ times by containing the Patriots running back committee, they’ll have another win on the board.

Prediction: Rodgers throws 3+ TD’s in a close game. Packers win. Record: 8-3
