Against: Inconsistent effort

Too many times throughout any given season, Howard takes multiple plays off. He effort waxes and wanes like the moon cycles through its phases in the sky.

Bucks’ fans have already grown tired of this inconsistent effort from a player like Eric Bledsoe. It was thought adding Bledsoe to a team with playoff aspirations would help him lock in on both ends of the floor. Unfortunately, not even being in the playoffs helped Bledsoe do this, as he was torched on multiple occasions due, in part, to a lack of effort.

It certainly would not help the Bucks to have their point guard and center both struggle with displaying consistent effort. Howard doesn’t even have any built-in excuses, as his effort has waxed and waned no matter the quality of team he’s been on. This alone should scare the Bucks from Howard.
