For: He’s a great rebounder

The Bucks were one of the worst rebounding teams last season and that was never more apparent than against the Boston Celtics in the first round of the playoffs.

Milwaukee didn’t struggle to force missed shots from the depleted Celtics. However, they did struggle to get stops. Many times Boston rebounded their own shot and got a bucket off the second chance. That was completely heartbreaking to the Bucks, as they were simply out-manned and out-gunned on the boards.

Howard could completely fix that all by himself. He’s one of the best rebounders in all of basketball, averaging 12.5 per game last season which ranked third in the NBA. He’d be a great offset to when Henson and Thon Maker are on the floor and could give the Bucks multiple different looks to throw at teams.
