1. He has some of the best nicknames

A nickname is a true and accurate indicator of how great a player is and can by. That’s why it’s a great sign that DiVincenzo has not one, but two of the best nicknames in all of college basketball and now the NBA.

The first great nickname is “The Michael Jordan of Delaware.” He has Villanova head coach Jay Wright to thank for that wone. Wright jokingly dubbed him that on one of his weekly television shows in reference to him being one of the greatest high school players to ever come out of the state.

His second great nickname is “The Big Ragu.” This nickname was given to him by broadcaster Gus Johnson after DiVincenzo tipped in a last-second shot to give his team a victory over Villanova. This nickname is in reference to his Italian heritage and red hair.

Between the Michael Jordan of Delaware and the Big Ragu, Bucks’ fans should have lots of fun with DiVincenzo’s names this season.
