4. Clutch performer

Even though DiVincenzo came off the bench for most of his college career, he played his best basketball when the team needed it the most.

It began in 2016-17 when he scored a season-high 25 points in a victory over St. Johns. Then, in the NCAA tournament, he dropped 21 in a first-round game against Mount St. Mary’s. We didn’t know it then, but it was a sign of things to come for DiVincenzo.

In the 2018 NCAA tournament, he lit the world on fire. He ended up winning the NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player award after he scored a career-high 31 points against the Michigan Wolverines in the Championship game. This was the most points scored for a player coming off the bench.

Hopefully, this clutch play continues into the NBA. The Bucks struggled down the stretch of games last season and often looked lost when it mattered the most. DiVincenzo brings experience to the table and is someone who’s had success during the most important times.
