6.  He’s a proven winner

Above anything else, DiVincenzo is a proven winner at every level he’s played so far. His winning began in high school where he led the Salesianum School in Wilmington, Delaware to consecutive state championships. During his senior season, he won the Boys’ Basketball Player of the Year in Delaware.

His winning continued at Villanova where he was a part of two National Championship teams in 2016 and 2018. In the two seasons he was eligible to play for the Wildcats, they went 70-6 and were one of the best teams in the country throughout.

General manager Jon Horst is hoping he can bring that winning attitude and culture into the Bucks’ organization. Milwaukee hasn’t been able to sustain anything resembling consistency when it comes to winning and is hoping DiVincenzo can bring that knowledge to the table.
