1. Junior Galette

Junior Galette tops this list and is the best outside linebacker available that the Packers’ should consider targeting.

Not surprisingly, Galette is also the youngest player on this list at 30-years-old. Age has been a common denominator with these players and probably one of the main reasons they remained unsigned in June.

Like a couple other players on this list, Galette transitioned from a 4-3 defensive end. This has led to struggles in pass-coverage and that’s probably something you don’t want to ask him to do too much of. However, Green Bay would likely recognize this if they decide to sign him.

One of the biggest question marks and complicating factors surrounding Galette is his injury history. He tore his Achilles tendon twice, once in 2015 and once in 2016. This caused him to miss the entirety of two straight seasons and could’ve sapped his athleticism from him. However, being that he’s not two years removed from his last injury, the Packers could be willing to take a chance that he’s a bit healthier and more ready to contribute than in 2017.
