3. Deeper receiving core

It could be said that Davante Adams had his breakout season last year. Knowing he put together the pro bowl season he did without Rodgers brings a lot more hope into 2018.

Moving down the line, Randall Cobb is reunited with Rodgers. As he enters a contract season he should be as motivated as ever to shine this season. He’s always been reliable in the slot, especially with Rodgers under center.

Geronimo Allison has built trust with Rodgers. Over the past two seasons, he has slowly become a reliable target. 2018 could be his breakout season which could deliver a much-needed boost to the Packers offense.

Then there are the three rookie receivers. The trio of Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Equanimous St.Brown and J’Mon Moore bring size and athleticism to the receiving core. Moore and Valdes-Scantling stand at 6-foot-3 while St.Brown is a towering 6-foot-5. I’m sure Rodgers is loving those measurements.

Coming into 2018 there is a lot of depth at the receiver position. It’s not just depth either, it’s quality depth. And as we have seen in the past, Rodgers can make a lot of things happen with a depth chart full of quality receivers. The revamped receiving core will help the Packers offense return to form in 2018.
