It’s unlikely the Milwaukee Bucks are able to swing a deal and move up for a player in the draft, however, if they do, they should target these 5 players.

The Milwaukee Bucks will be hard-pressed to trade up in the 2018 NBA Draft come Thursday, June 21, but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible. However unlikely, there are a couple of scenarios out there that would allow them to move up from their 17th overall pick.

Before we get into the how, let’s first discuss the why. Although Milwaukee is more than likely looking to shed some salary off the contracts from Matthew Dellavedova, John Henson and Tony Snell, they could instead go the other way.

Milwaukee may really like a player that’s projected to go before there pick and might be willing to risk some assets in order to do so. The 17th pick isn’t extremely valuable, but it does hold some leverage in trade negotiations. The Bucks would likely have to attach another asset that teams covet in order to move up.

The most likely players other teams would want are Eric Bledsoe, Malcolm Brogdon and Thon Maker. Whether Milwaukee is willing to part with any of those three or should is a whole separate debate.

For the sake of this article, let’s forget that conversation and focus on the who. Here are five guys the Bucks might be willing to trade up for.
