2. The Bucks select a point guard with their first round pick

Even with Milwaukee holding the 17th overall selection on Thursday, they’ve been linked to numerous point guards. And if the mock drafts are to be beleived, that’s the direction they’ll go.

Despite having Eric Bledsoe, Dellavdeova, Brogdon and Brandon Jennings on the roster, point guard could still be considered a position of need for the Bucks. Bledsoe has one year left on his contract and his fit is questionable at best alongside Antetokounmpo. He’s a shoot first point guard who doesn’t hit his outside shot conistently enough to earn defenses respect.

Brogdon can play the 2 and is more valuable off ball than on. While he would be a fine contributor, he’d be the second point guard in an ideal world that sees the Bucks competing for the NBA Finals. Dellavedova is probably best suited as a third point guard on a roster and Jennings is a fringe NBA player at this point.

While that may be focusing too much on their negatives, selecting a point guard for the future and someone the Bucks can develop might not be a bad thing. So which point guard to they choose?
